What are your basketball expectations

I don't ask for that much all I want is to constantly be on the bubble of the NCAA tournament and every 5 years be near the top of the confrense and maybe get to the sweet 16
Which brings me to tony barbee who has recruited great but can't keep his players, doesn't know how to sub players, and in his fourth year hasn't shown any improvement from his first year (11-20)
What I'm trying to say is please get Bruce pearl

Not good. I do think we are a little better offensively, but an awful defensive and rebounding team. As much as it hurts to say, we're going to miss Chubb in the middle. I've been to all of the home games and we look worse each time out. It's going to be a long year.

What football job would you compare the AU basketball job too I would say north Carolina or Michigan state and ole miss in the sec, places that aren't the best jobs but if they get the right coach they can win and if they win they will get fan support

I don't think it is unreasonable to expect us to have the type of team that Kennedy has had during his tenure at OM. They are historically on the same level we are in the SEC.
I disagree with people thinking Barbee has had talented recruiting classes to work with. We haven't recruited a single player during his tenure that would see the floor for the upper level programs in our conference. His inability to keep players in the program long enough to be developed has compounded our lack of talent and left us with the shite-storm of a basketball team we have trotted out during his tenure.

We are closer to Duke in football in that comparison. With the right coach they can have success, as they are now, but in msot cases they are a train wreck.

I can't wait for baseball season to start. I think Coach Golloway was an OUTSTANDING hire. (that is my feeling on the current state of Auburn basketball)
JJ also hired a winner for women's softball. Coach Myers turned Arizona State into a juggernaut. (just wanted to reiterate my feelings on the current state of Auburn basketball)
