If I missed the thread where we all point an laugh at them, I apologize but just wanted to make sure I didn't miss the chance to discuss the trials of our eastern B6G counterparts

Seriously though Guys, all three of you are going to have to get your shite together soon or you could be facing some stiff penalties from the Board of Directors (Aub, LSU, & Bama)

Vandy should be a 3 loss team, just saying.

Florida and Georgia to an extent came blame their bad seasons on a rash of injuries. Tennessee needs to gets it's act together soon!

Yes. We allowed them to draw straws to see who Vandy replaces. UT and UF both have drawn.

Mark Richt sent us this picture, so we are trying to get in touch with him to finish this.

I wonder when the last time a team from the east, has beat all those teams and not been in the division hunt. Has it happened ever?

Eta, just realized sc in 10 was the only non big 6 east winner.

SC did it in '11, but uga backed into the SECCG with an easy schedule. SC beat every SECe team that year.

Technically, Mizzou doesn't count since their loss was to USCe but just think if Vandy was in the hunt for the SECe?

The best part is that Vandy might actually end up in Atlanta in the near future. Who would have considered taking the under on a "Vandy as SEC East champs in 10 years" 3 years ago? What about now?

Vandt of 2013 is not to be confused with Vandy of recent years past. I predicted before season started that Vandy would give UGA a hard time and it isn't just injuries...UGA losat a boatload of defensive talent from last year. UT sucks in general....and our injuries decimated us...but goive give Dores credit...Franklin has them tough.

The ability to anchor down and put what was the sloppiest game the offense has played all year and execute a game winning drive is something Vanderbilt had been unable to do pre-Franklin. They found ways to lose games, not ways to win them.

Luck would be the miracle catch by Auburn. Vandy beating us was just good timing.

For the peach bowl maybe. Vanderbilt will never win the SEC east. It took UF having their worst season since the 70s, UGA losing half their starters en route to 4 losses, and Tennessee being in the worst stretch run in school history for Vandy to do what they did this year, and yet they are STILL only 4th in the division! Let that sink in...the most successful year vandy has ever had (I'm assuming) against the SEC east powers and still in FOURTH place in the division.

If it hasn't happened in the last few years, this year especially, it aint never happening. You can set the O/U at 50 years for vandy winning the east, and I'd still take over.
