I didn't know what to expect going into this year, but I don't think anyone did. Losing Murph and Buckner had people writing us off. I'm not so sure we are going to be as bad as people think.

Demarco Cox looks good down low, AJ is going to give you his defensive effort and his ability to finish at the rim. Colbey looks the part of an SEC big man and will be a good one.

Jarvis Summers is playing a lot off the ball and has been a scoring machine. Millinghouse has been playing the point with Jarviss at the 2 and has been scoring. All of this is not even counting Snoop and Marshall which we all know what they can do. Perez is showing potential to be a a solid contributor. Newbey has been starting and playing as a role player, (assist, defense, hustle).

This team has potential. We havent played anyone but I'm excited about the next couple of weeks when we get tested.

We are destroying NC A&T who was up on GT by 11 at half and only lost by 7 this weekend with Marshall only playing about 7 or 8 min total.

We'll definitely get tested in the coming weeks.

We play on TV (NBCSN?) Friday and Saturday against Georgia Tech and Penn State/St. Johns in Brooklyn, NY.

We also play Oregon and Kansas State before starting league play.

Marshall can average 25 a game but we'll go as far as AJ and Demarco can take us

Agree. Cox, AJ, Siaz and Colby are the key to this season. We have plenty of shooters, but without people to clean up down low we are screwed. I hope they all step up.

If we beat GT on Friday, have a chance late against kstate, and not get too embarrassed by Oregon I think we'll have a good season. Looks like another bubble season so we need to win the ones we are supposed too and hopefully pull an upset or two along the way

It's gonna be a rough year. I still have no idea why we extended Squidward. I'm hoping some of the young guys pick it up especially Saiz

Yeah I am serious. He had one good season. The dude doesn't develop players at all. Look at Murphy Holloway and Buckner those dudes were the exact same freaking players all 5 years they were here. Hardly any improvement in their game. Dude stanks should have let him walk.

BTW I hope Kennedy proves me wrong.

Hey I've got no problem with you disliking him, but it's pretty obvious why he got the extension.

Surely you can't be serious.

Not sure how long you've followed Ole Miss basketball, but they haven't exactly been a shining light in college basketball.

ETA: Rod Barnes had 4 straight losing seasons at the end of his tenure. Just for comparison, Andy Kennedy has won 20 games every season except once when he went 16-15 (this was due to a rash of knee injuries that year).
