Auburn almost had Dyer and Lattimore.

Get real. I knew some of the coaches at Byrnes. Latti, my favorite Gamecock of all time, was a Gamecock since 7th grade. He used y'all to stop other schools from bothering him.

No way in hell to convince y'all I'm not being a homer but those of y'all ranking Yeldon in the bottom half of this are nuts. To be fair though those are some DOMINANT HS running backs.

ETA: Fournete(sp)
Lat 2a
Trent 2b
Yeldon
Brown
Crowell(sp)
Dyer

ESPN hype helped with the fame of a couple of these guys

Lacy had a more impressive highlight film than Richardson coming out.

I guess as far as hype goes since we are suppose to be blind to their future...

1. Fournette
2. Bryce Brown
3. Trent Richardson
4. Lattimore
5. Crowell
6. Dyer
7. Yeldon

Dyer had more hype then Yeldon but personally I always thought Dyer was extremely overrated.

I watched Lattimore play against my high school 3 times.

He averaged over 200 total yards in those games while only playing in the first half. Number one in my book. Also, my high school wasn't very good.

he had all the accolades but I think he was underhyped in the media and on the interwebz

1. Noel Devine
2. Trent Richardson
3. "Cadillac"
4. Marcus Lattimore
5. Derrick Henry
6. Leonard Fournette
7. Isiah Criminell
8. Mike Dyer

If the videos weren't labeled you wouldn't be able to tell the difference in the Yeldon HS film and the Fournette HS film. They look like the same back.

why is everybody so touchy? we are talking about rating the best rbs in the past 5 years of recruiting. we are talking not much difference between 1 and 7 here. just opinions. relax. honestly, i believe brown was the most overhyped and yeldon the most under hyped....that has a lot to do with my opinion. it's not like i travel the US to see all these guys in person.

I personally thought Lacy's high school film was fun to watch. Cowboy Lacy was his nickname at one point, you could just tell he was going to be a bruiser watching the high school film alone.
