Living in New Orleans for 35 years, I've heard all the LSU rationalizations that can be imagined... cheating, schedule, holding, schedule, refs, REC, weather, mulligans, schedule, paying, traitor players, gumping, dumping, lumping, schedule, SEC-Office, more holding, more schedule, Satan, Sabine, Saline, Saltine, Siren, schedule... refs AND holding.
But this week I've heard a new one from my LSU friends ... and it has been repeated multiple times so it must be the new buzz in Baton Rouge.
"Alabama did not beat LSU. It is Saban, only Saban, it has nothing to do with Alabama or the University of Alabama... LSU did not lose to Alabama, they lost to Saban so ... 'you gumps didn't beat LSU this year, or win the NC on 1/9...it was Saban, not Alabama.'"
