Awesome!!!! I smell an SEC championship coming on!!

Did they sweep SC too? If so, that would make us 93-8 on the season... not too shabby!

Yes, as title stated.

Set record 93-8. (edit to correct my bad)

Maybe I don't understand how Volleyball works, but if you're undefeated and have beaten the crap out of everyone, including a top 5 team in Florida, shouldn't you be ranked higher then 7?

No. We haven't played anyone. Ask GreasyGrits. I mean we have played the 6 SEC teams that may make the tournament. And not lost a match. But Greasy will tell you that it makes total sense.

The one that bothers me most is Stanford, with like 5 losses, was ranked ahead of us. That should change this week. I suspect we'll be 4.

ETA - Make that 5th

Isn't the PAC supposed to be the power conference for volleyball? Still, 5 losses, and ranked ahead of an undefeated team? That's some BS right there.

Mizzou has played more matches than anyone else....maybe that explains it.

I just went and took a look and to be honest, Mizzou only has 3 games against ranked teams. Two against Florida and one against Kentucky. Having looked at the different teams though, we may move as high as 3 or 4 this week.

#1 Texas: Is 6-1 against ranked teams and 1 other loss.
#2 PSU: 11-2 against ranked teams.
#3 Washington: 5-0 against ranked teams. 1 loss to unranked team.
#4 USC: 5-4 against ranked teams with one other loss. Lost 2 over weekend.
#5 UF: 4-3 against ranked teams.
#6 Stanford: 1-5 against ranked teams.
#7 Mizzou: 3-0 against ranked teams.

We should jump Stanford with that win. We'll jump UF with that win. USC lost 2 games since the last rankings(1 to ranked and 1 to an unranked team) and now has 5 losses. We should jump them as well. Washington doesn't have an impressive schedule either and the win over UF might put us ahead of them as well as they lost to an unranked team. I don't see any chance of leaping Texas or PSU thought. Hope for #3!!!!!!

31 wins = 93 sets won. I doubt they played any games where they won more than 3 sets since that is impossible.

A match is determined by first team to win 3 sets out of a possible 5 sets. Lady Tigers have won 23 matches 3-0 , but in 8 matches they won it by 3-1.

You are correct .....I was adding the opponent sets

93-8 .... My bad....but they are Good!

I wish the next match wasn't on Friday.

Rock Bridge High School won their football game last Friday, so they have a home game this Friday night that sends them to the state title game if they win it. That could have an affect on the size of the crowd at the Hearnes Center.
