Watched a video of that which was linked on here yesterday. Very funny.

Can't really imagine a scene like that happening now.

It was in response to a STUPID SEC rule to keep fans off the field. Had we won (we were favored), we would have turned the sprinklers on ourselves..

The interesting part is that a fan ran on the field and turned the hoses into the stands. It was cold that night...

ETA: I was at the game.

How about the next year when Auburn fans took pieces of the Hedges at Georgia? I guess that was ok. Auburn is so concerned about their campus, but couldn't care less about how to act when they go to someone elses house.

You were at that game in 1987?

Please tell me a Bama fan is not lecturing me on property destruction at another campus.

I remember all the spin from AU.

It was a mistake.

The sprinklers were on a timer.

Grass needs watering.

God protecting his favorite's grass.

I know some UGA fans complain about the incident but I honestly don't really blame Auburn for it. If I were a college student during that time I probably would have been down there on the field, but they weren't supposed to be out there so Auburn did what they did.

We won the game, that's all I would have given a shite about. If we can get 7 out of 8 this weekend I give anybody permission to soak me with water.
