I always enjoy listening to him after games. He is a straight shooter, insightful, and informative.

Here is the video after practice tonight.

LINK

Takeaways:

1. Our D plays with a lot of effort and emotion. They play hard and have all year.

2. We are still missing a lot of fits and gaps in the run game. This is on the linebackers. While Johnson compliments effort, he is getting a bit frustrated that we still have not corrected it. Says it is a broken record and not carrying over from practice to the game.

3. We have to get better. He noted that Gurley would hand us our arse as well as the bama runningbacks if we do not stop missing our fits and gaps and tackles. He did not say it like I just did, but the message is the same never the less.

I fear the UGA game is going to turn into a legit shoot-out. Their defense sucks too. The problem and disagree with me if you must but when Holland is in the game teams are running straight at him. This scares the shite out of me given the stud they have in the backfield

Nothing to disagree with. Hill embarrased us running right at us in the first half and Gurley is better.

I am extremely worried about Gurley having a monster day. Mostly due to LBs not filling the gaps like they should. Hope I'm wrong.

Holland clearly has an on field attitude/self esteem problem (as in he is playing like a pussy)

I don't expect a person of Holland's athleticism to scrape off blocks and be a superstar. I do expect Holland to fill his gap assignments and engage blocks/runner. He frequently does not engage the blocker which either runs him out of the play or opens up another player to be pancaked. He doesn't even justify this by making occasional tackles as he is the king of broken arm tackles

There is nothing we can really do about this unfortunately.

I expect Gurley to run for 200.. thankfully I don't see them stopping our offense.

I see Gurley running for 100 before he pulls a hammy or something along those lines.

I do not see Gurley running in TDs at a high rate. We have improved on long TD runs (kind of) and inside the 20s is basically game over FG time

We let a pretty mediocre SEC back, regon neal, get a 100 and over 6 ypc... Gurley, if close to healthy, is going to shred us.

Against teams running between the tackles, Frost hasn't been much better than Holland. Very disappointing. I wish they would give Swain a chance in the middle. Hard to think it could be much worse.

UGA won't go tempo so all of our lbs will get a shot. UGA has allowed some bad teams to score on them. Our defense doesn't have to play outstanding we just need to hold them to under 30ish

Florida roared back and almost beat UGA. Florida.

I think we are the better team.

I still don't think he's 100%. He was noticeably gimpy in the UF game. So that could help us out. High ankle sprains are a nagging injury
