Alabama and its .990 computer rankings

With such a terrible schedule (SOS is a factor in some of these computer rankings), I can't believe they could post such a high ranking! Number 1 in all but 1 computer (which has them at #2)

Their SOS isn't terrible. Every reasonable fan knows this. You're letting the LSU and Auburn fans troll you into the exact reaction they want.
That said, the computers are only 1/3rd of the equation, there are multiple (six minus the two outliers) computer polls combined into that, and SOS is only a part of each of those. The single biggest factor by far are two human polls (Harris/Coaches) at 1/3rd apiece to equal 2/3rds, and, with a few notable exceptions, the Harris and Coaches polls don't generally vary wildly between them. So Bama being so high isn't a validation of their SOS so much as an inevitability due to their recent success.

It's 2 minutes and 28 seconds left in the Texas A&M game that Bama won earlier this year.

While this is true, I was specifically talking about their computer rankings which don't have human weights. They rank SOS, win-loss, and multiple other factors besides the "eye test".
