I just heard on the radio we are the first team to ever have 3 straight road SEC games. Is this true? Seems hard to believe.

If you count Jacksonville we do it like every other year.

Do you honestly think Bama would ever have three straight SEC road games?

The lesser teams always get screwed in the scheduling.
USC, LSU, Mizzou. Etc.

Not true. A&M had Auburn, State, and Alabama in a row on the road just last year. I doubt we were the first then, either.

Was there a bye week in there somewhere?

A&M had a helluva six week stretch last year ... competition wasn't great, sketchy even, but the schedule itself was road-warrior worthy.
Saturday
Oct. 6 Rebels at Ole Miss Rebels
Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, Oxford, MS Won 30-27 ---
Saturday
Oct. 13 Bulldogs at Louisiana Tech Bulldogs
Independence Stadium, Shreveport, LA Won 59-57 ---
Saturday
Oct. 20 Tigers LSU Tigers
Kyle Field, College Station, TX Lost 24-19 ---
Saturday
Oct. 27 Tigers at Auburn Tigers
Jordan-Hare Stadium, Auburn, AL Won 63-21 ---
Saturday
Nov. 3 Bulldogs at Mississippi State Bulldogs
Davis Wade Stadium, Starkville, MS Won 38-13 ---
Saturday
Nov. 10 Crimson Tide at Alabama Crimson Tide
Bryant-Denny Stadium, Tuscaloosa, AL Won 29-24 ---

Those weren't 3 straight. We had Texas and SEMO and a bye week between them.

Just perusing all-time records since expansion in '92 ... it does actually appear that only A&M and now SCAR have done it without an off-week to break the streak of three in a row.

Not quite the same, but
2000 Bama
10/21 @Tennessee
10/28 UCF at home
11/4 @LSU
11/11 @Mississippi State
Three straight road SEC games interrupted by one OOC home game.

Was it scheduled like that or was there some movement because of the hurricane at the beginning of the season?

The short answer is no, this is not the first time this has happened in history, it's happened a bunch of times. Are you sure you've got all the conditions applied to it?
