South carolina should beat Florida. So they will finish with 2 losses. No way Mizzou wins out vs UT, ole miss and A&M,

Bama vs South Carolina in Atlanta barring a major upset.

Mizzou wins the possible three way tie with UGA and USC/UF if their other loss is OM/TAMU?

UGA has 2 SECE losses, so does USCe. Mizzou and UF have one each. Record in the division is a tie-breaker. Could get interesting.

No, both would have two losses ... SCAR would win head-to-head.

That is incorrect ... as SCAR can attest to in the even of a tie it goes down to head to head. Record within the division has nothing to do with it. Interdivisional losses are the same as divisional losses.

If SCAR and Mizzou both have two conference losses, then SCAR goes because they won the head-to-head.

My odds for atlanta

70% chance South Carolina
29% Chance Missouri
1% other

pretty likely USCe goes 6-2 with wins over Miss State and Gators. If that happens, Missouri needs to win out. I give them small edge to beat vols and should beat UK. If they beat vols and UK even with some mo still at best toss up vs Ole Miss and A&M.

Say TAMU beats Mizzou and there is a 3-way tie for the East between UGA, USC, and Mizzou. Missouri would have the best record, in division play with USC having lost to UGA & UT and UGA having lost to Vandy and Mizzou. Mizzou would've lost to USC & western division TAMU.

THREE (OR MORE) TEAM TIE

1. (Once the tie has been reduced to two teams, go to the two-team tie-breaker format.)
2. Combined head-to-head record among the tied teams.
3. Record of the tied teams within the division.
4. Head-to-head competition vs. the team within the division with the best overall (divisional and non-divisional) Conference record and proceeding through the division. Multiple ties within the division will be broken from first to last.
5. Overall record vs. non-division teams.
6. Combined record vs. all common non-divisional teams.
7. Record vs. common non-divisional team with the best overall Conference (divisional and non-divisional) record and proceeding through other common non-divisional teams based on their order of finish within their division.
8. The tied team with the highest ranking in the Bowl Championship Series Standings following the last weekend of regular-season games shall be the divisional representative in the SEC Championship Game, unless the second of the tied teams is ranked within five-or-fewer places of the highest ranked tied team. In this case, the head-to-head results of the top two ranked tied teams shall determine the representative in the SEC Championship Game.

3 way tie is pretty confusing but UGA wins at Auburn?

I'm not worried about that cause here's what's gonna happen.

South Carolina will beat UF. UF will beat GA and Mizzou will possibly lose to both Tenn and A&M bookmark it.

For Florida to win the East, they need to win out and Missouri needs to lose to Ole Miss and aTm. This will happen. Then Florida will destroy Bama in the SEC title game with its high-powered offense.

Only rules we need in a three way tie between Mizzou-USC-UGA at 6-2 and assuming Mizzou loses to Ole Miss or aTm.

Head-to-head is a wash since everybody would be 1-1. Mizzou would go to ATL based on the record of tied teams within the division with only 1 loss while USC and UGA are eliminated with 2

eta- rooster and ciye are forgetting that USC has finished with 1 more SEC loss than UGA the past two years

In the inaugural SEC championship format back in 1992 UF was improbable as a team could be with its first two SEC games a loss...against Moo State and UT....UT had the world in the palm of their hands.....but the pressure got to them..UF started winning their games and at the end UT couldn't avoid upsets...on Halloween favored UGA played UF in the WLOCP and the Gators pulled out the W and went to the very first SECCG instead of UGA or UT...which was huge for Spurrier and the Gators which started making it an annual rite of passage.

BTW 1992 was the first Spurrier led team that was not that potent...graduation had claimed a lot of great players who were there when the OBC arrived in 1990. His first recruiting season had fared poorly overall...abd in 1992 we had two true frosh start on the OL and that is why we got better as season wore on...the young players got better abd we had young defensive players who would go to have great success.

Mizzou is now feeling the pressure and it would not surprise me if they lose two more SEC games paving the way for UF/USC...but playing USC at Brice Williams is hard road to travel...we will see. UGA will be eliminated this weekend.
