Mett's so good he can even get Furman into the end zone.

#6

His TD/INT ratio hurts him.

1 or 2 more picks than TD's against Bama will drop Mett like a rock.

Mettenburger definitely has better stats. But he's not even in the same universe as McCarron

He's thrown too many INT's this season which has definitely contributed to our losses. Murray is great when he has enough time to analyze the field, pick his target and make the throw. He doesn't perform well under pressure. I love Murray. He's a fine young man and student of the game but I would take a mobile QB like Manziel who can play well under pressure any day of the week. But having said that I would take Murray over Manziel due to superior character.

McCarron has a good arm. Not a rocket arm, but it was good last year when everyone talked shite about it, and it's better this year.

He's mobile enough to extend plays. He isn't gonna run around for yardage, but he has the best pocket presence of any pocket passer in CFB.

Takes care of the football.

Elite football IQ.

Elite decision making.

AJ > Mett, but I'm sure those stats mean soooo much to the naked eye.

McCarron doesn't force footballs into impossibly narrow throwing lanes like Mettenberger does. Those 3 picks are a big reason as to why you lost to Ole Miss last weekend.
