Let's get the Bulldog Club to finance the Richt Family Ministry and hire Bronco Mendenhall from BYU.

He would be a hell of a DC if BYU ever fired him

Mendenhall is a serious coach. 10x better than anyone UGA has ever had imo

He's no Paul Johnson though.

I've heard him speak at clinics before. I like him but I don't want him at UGA. He's a fricking tree hugging/karate guy. No thanks.

Is he a student of Rex-kwon-do?

Try to get Pete Carroll, Chris Peterson, GAry Patterson or the new kid on the block.
Per Wikipedia.
Tim DeRuyter has a history of turning college football defenses around. Before his second arrival at Ohio in 2002, the Bobcats ranked 99th nationally; upon his departure to Nevada, the Bobcats ranked 22nd. At Nevada, the Wolfpack improved from 78th to 48th under his tutelage.[1]
As the defensive coordinator at Air Force from 2007–09, DeRuyter replaced a bend-but-don't-break scheme with an aggressive 3-4 defense. In 2006, prior to his arrival, the Falcons ranked 78th in scoring defense and 78th in total defense. In 2009, the Falcons finished 10th in scoring defense and 11th in total defense. In the 2009 Armed Forces Bowl against Houston, the Falcons limited the nation's second-ranked passing offense to a season-low of 222 passing yards. They also recorded six interceptions.[2][3]
DeRuyter became Texas A&M's defensive coordinator in 2010. The Aggies ranked 104th in scoring defense in 2009, under a 4-3 defense. In 2010, under his 3-4 defense, they improved to 21st in scoring defense.[4][5

Pope Pious Richt IX recruits well, and is a wonderful guy, but he's a soft football coach.
We can do better. We should expect to do better.

Pat Narduzzi is paid $500,000 per year at MSU. They have the best defense in the country this year. (they are 3rd in points) But, this guy has made MSU's D 6th in 2011, 4th in 2012, and 1st in 2013. MSU has the best rushing yard per game and best passing yards per game in the nation. Also the best overal yards in the nation. This guy wants a head coaching job and needs to get some consideration. tAm offered him a huge deal last year and he turned it down. With what CTG making what he makes, we could easily afford to grab this guy.

Only problem with Narduzzi is that he has spent his entire career in the north. Would he come south of the donna dickson line?

Someone who has proven they can coach talent up/take mediocre talent and win. Mendenahll does fit that criteria IMO but wouldn't be my top candidate.
