Man. These poor guys have really been through the ringer with injuries, this season.
I remember when it hit us, last year...we were fortunate in that it actually worked out favorably with the revamped OL...

UGA went from one of the best teams in the SEC to trying to sneak past vandy.
Draw your own conclusions.
OM wasn't relative last year, or this year before the injuries really.

No way. UF has been losing players on an already floundering unit. Losing Driskel and Jones, while definitely painful, only made your worst asset worse. Yea, y'all lost Easley too, but the defense still looks good.
Georgia on the other hand is the opposite in philosophy as we have all seen by the big 12 style that has been adopted but all their injuries came on the side they were strongest. Now Georgia is fielding walk ons on what used to be it's strength and they all have to not miss a step because this defense which we believed just to be raw has turned out to be just dreadful.
Had UF lost a bunch of players on defense and maybe just one or two off offense so that they had a bad defense and bad offense THEN I'd say maybe UF. But no. This is the state of Georgia and this is our burden to bare.

UGA as a program. Their two biggest rivals in the east have been down for years, and they still can't run undefeated in conference.

Well, I know UGA had bigger national fish to fry, but I guess I'm just talking about from a loss of key personnel standpoint.
And yes, Roadgator- I should have included UF in the conversation. Their losses have certainly been significant, as well....

The rise of USCe makes up for that.
... and sure UF hasn't been consistent, but they could've easily gone to the NC game last year.

In 2013? Uhh...obviously UGA. We went from legit national title contender to praying we're healthy enough to beat vandy in a noon kickoff.

I like how we're getting shite from fans of the two teams we've pretty much dominated over the last 5 - 10 years. I could see it coming from UF fans or USCe fans because they've actually done something.

We also lost Debose and Green before the beginning of the season. Green was our best tackle (2011 freshman all american team). Debose was a ridiculous returner, and was due to have a breakout receiving year. Those two loses are huge for our offense, and special teams.

UGA was a national title contender, Ole Miss had a much lower ceiling. UGA's injuries have cost them way more.
They probably won't even make it to Atlanta at this rate.

relative to what?

GAg was not a national contender. They had no defense.

Funny, when this injury occurred all we heard from UF fans was how big of a disappointment Debose had been (which was true, he was atrocious) and how his loss wouldn't amount to a hill of beans.

Maybe the Green one, you and I both know Debose wouldn't have done shite

This is where you miss Debose, unless you're really pimping his 15 yards receiving and 9 yards rushing from 2012. 24 total yards from the LOS.
I'm not trying to take anything away from the Driskell, Jones, and Green injuries, but the Debose injury had virtually no effect on your offense.
Edited for bad math

Debose was dynamic with the ball. He has underperformed, but as a senior, I expected him to do better than Solo, and Dumbar. Good grief the kid had moves.
We were all disappointed in his performance as a WR so far, but JD was the QB and he didn't throw chit last year.
I can't prove chit, but odds were he was going to be a significant contributor on O.

Truth. They are never going to win a national title.
