He's right. I'm more of a fan of scoring offense and defense though.

Ranking suites AU much better.

These threads are stupid. You have a loss, Clowney sucks, you're still SC.

I'll take 2 and 23 in scoring D and O any day over total stats.

We still have room for a lot of improvement though.

Arkansas put-up zero resistance. It was like slicing through greasy tender pig meat with a hot knife.

Tennessee is likely to put-up much more of a fight.

I just checked. USC is the ONLY SEC team in the Top 25 for both Total Offense and Total Defense.

https://stats.ncaa.org/team/inst_team_list/11520?conf_id=911.0&division=11.0

There sure are a lot of other fans checking into this thread though, maybe you should start a thread for those that aren't in the Top 25, for them?

USC has also played 6 opponents out of 6 games thus far that are AQ-caliber opponents. No FCS, no C-USA or Sunbelt, no WAC, MAC, or Regularly Slack conferences.

Wonder how many others in SEC can claim this at this point?

I think only Alabama ranks in the top 25 in both scoring O and scoring D, but didn't they have the most universally ranked schedule as being by far the weakest in the SEC this season??

These Stats are in reality deceiving..lull you to sleep, then you face a team who is not "top tier' in these polls, and get your heads handed to you, by that same " Nobody"
