He will be 3 years removed from HS even though he wasn't enrolled in school in 2011

FWIW he's the best RB LSU has had in a while.

That's what I was thinking but an LSU fan at our game said he had to play his JR year first Bc he didn't redshirt.

Al Bundy really should be a MSU alum. It's too perfect.

he'd be mistaken on all of that. only rule is you have to be 3 years removed from high school.

He was wrong. No one has to play a down in college to be drafted, technically.

A lot of people who don't follow recruiting at all aren't real clear on the rule, and just don't know any better. I feel like the question pops up in a thread 2-3 times a week on TR, and there are always people who think he has to stay another season.

Why do you think I chose him as my SN/Avatar. He's the epitome of a State fan

He's incredible - do you think he starts as a true frosh?

I'm telling you, though I don't care much for our chances, I would love to steal him from LSU. That said, I think we have at BEST a 5% shot of swaying him. LSU's about to get a beast at RB.

Is he allowed to leave the state without consent from his probation officer? I guess he can watch the draft from home and hope the saints pick him.

I so wish he would stay so we could have him and Fournette both. That would be a helluva backfield!

And it won't just be him that goes early. I honestly expect that everyone that can go, will go.

And I don't blame them. After seeing several players come back for another year in CFB only to either get injured or hurt their draft standings...think Matt Barkley...it makes sense to go when your stock is as high as it can get.
