I'm gonna be close to Gainesville tomorrow night and need a hotel just for Friday night. I'm not going to the game Saturday and have no plans on doing anything in, or around Gainesville. Just need a room for my family for the night.

What's my best shot for not having to get to far off Interstate 75. Looking for something relatively cheap that won't be packed with Arkansas fans.

not really even sure if this is where we'll end up. traveling with a 2 and 3 year old. so, just looking for some options along the way for whatever time we end up calling it quits for the night.

Which side of Gainesvile? Not a ton of hotel's around Gainesville tbh you'd have to go in the city to my knowledge.

I'd go Ocala..Lived there 8 years. George Stein the Yankee god owns a hotel off one of the exits it's pretty nice last I saw. Or the Hilton off 200 is probably your best bet.

Ocala won't frick you with a two night minimum. I'm not sure about Lake City.

Hilton in Ocala doesn't have a 2 night I stayed there about a year ago. It's nice in that area too, lot's of action for a smaller town. Really built that part up from when I lived there.
