Damnit

Freshman safety Tray Matthews tweaked his hamstring in practice and his status for the Tennessee game is in doubt, along with tailback Todd Gurley, who also didn't practice.

Can Norman play free? I really hope not. Give Mauger a shot. Even though I really wanna see Fluker but I've heard nothing about him.

He came back at the end of practice and is day to day.

His status for saturday is unknown. This certainly sucks, but to be honest, against UT's putrid offense, norman/moore/jhc should be fine at safety for this game.

Play man coverage and send 6 on every play.

Exactly what went wrong against Clemson. They picked on Norman who got burnt every play.

With a true FR as a starting corner and another seeing significant playing time? Yeah, no thank you. Bring 4-5 and sit back in a zone because Worley will make numerous mistakes with the ball.

If you play man, it is a whole lot harder to screw up who you are supposes to cover. Even if we plan man 2, it is still alot simpler. Worley sucks. K.I.S.S. Principle. They are athletic freshmen, make it easy and let them play ball. Just my 2¢. Which is worthless as I am sure many will agree.

We are very lucky that Worley is such a turd burglar or I would be very worried about our defense going into a hostile environment of this magnitude. I agree about keeping it simple, but still if there is one frick up in man you are up shite creek without a paddle. I just know that if we have to go with 3 CB's in man coverage they will pick on Shaq Wiggins all damn day. He is talented, no disputing that, but he was exposed on more than one occasion Saturday.

Again tho, Worley is so shitty that none of these scenarios make nervous about Saturday

I disagree fully about man being easy. It is hard from a technique standpoint and when teams run trips and motion, etc, it is hard to know who you are covering if you do not have a ton of experience.

Cover 3 is the simplest as you only have 1/3 of the field and only have to keep behind the deepest player.

Cracker, I know you want to keep your anonymity with regards to your foozeball playing past at UGA but, would you be willing at least to tell us which side of the ball you played on?

Yup, and with a QB like Worley he will never be able to take the top off of the zone. We will be able to keep everything in front of us and force him to throw the short ones and he will cough it up a couple of times.

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I played offense and defense during my career.

Depends what day you ask me, but offense if I had to pick one.... But you really do have to understand both sides of the ball.
