Did the offensive line look more cohesive to you with Lindsey

I hate it when any player gets hurt Bama or not but the offensive line performed much better with Lindsey at center. They ran at will and we're definitely pushing guys off the LOS. Was very nice to see. Vogler had a terrible night as we'll missing blocks.

It did, but how much was fatigue on the OM defense? Regardless, impressed with his body language and his ownership of his role when he got thrust into the spotlight.

Yep. I think his size helped especially when lined up against bigger guys like Nkemdiche. Kelly seems to get blown up way more on run plays.

That's why I am so curious as to why Kelly had the start. Saban is obviously not stupid so something has to have given Kelly the nod but there were no more missed assignments and they blew them off the line by a few yards. Bolger needs to get his crap together. He played terribly compared to his blocking last year.

He came in towards the end of the first half. In the second half we turned it on almost immediately. We had 200+ yards rushing in the final two quarters. I don't know how much of that was Lindsay, but things got much better at OL while he was in there.

I said the same thing after Lindsay came into the game. Maybe a coincidence, or maybe not. Time will tell. I hope Kelly is not broke too bad.

As I said in the other thread, in not so eloquent words, Lindsay is a mauler and a mean son of a bitch. Kelly is better at technique. We need to develop a mean attitude on offense. Lindsay provides this.

Yeah, they seemed more coehsive and better at run blocking. I don't buy that Ole Miss were tired.

Unless you're telling me they got tired the exact play Kelly got hurt.

This x infinity.

We lost 2 mean motherfrickers in Chance and DJ and replaced them with guys who don't have that "I'm about to make you my bitch" attitude. We need someone out there who is just a mean, dirty bastard.

You don't usually want to mess with a 310 pound fiery ginger. They already hate life. Imagine how much they hate other people.

For the first time this year I am excited about this team. They looked almost like Bama 2011 on defense. (That's not a fair measuring stick as that is a once every 20 yr defense) if we could only get our offense performing to 2012 levels we will be good to go.

Wasn't DJ the one telling the Georgia D-lineman when they were running the ball to his side and he still kicked their arse?

And also Kwangilo(sp) didn't like playing beside Chance Womack because he stayed on his arse every mistake. There were 3 great competitors on the line that are playing on Sunday now.Losing that it's almost impossible to get the same results with 1st year starters.

I'm a lot more optimistic after this Win.

Cyrus I am not sure about. I watch him send up and take a step back before anyone else did. Instead pushing forward he sat back a lot on blocks
