so Auburn has never met Notre Dame on the playing field

I do find that quite strange, considering the deep football history with both institutions, that at some point they never crossed paths.
what other "big time programs" has Auburn not played against before?

I think we tried during the tub years. Seems like they didn't want to travel to JHS

I think I remember reading something during that time that Auburn tried to schedule both Notre Dame and Michigan and neither would accept the challenge

I hope we don't play them. my recent ex girlfriend is a Notre Dame alumni and we always talked about who would win. I cheered for them last season with her but it would be incredibly shitty if they beat us for personal reasons. cool story, right?

Never met a lot of PAC 12 teams...UCLA, Cal, Arizona State, University of Washington, stanford, Utah

I think you will find we haven't played much against the Pac 12 teams.

I think Notre Dame wants to play in the south now for recruiting purposes.

We tried to schedule ND a few years back... they refused to travel to JHS
