Did Richt really make the Dawgs scrimmage yesterday?

I read that somewhere. What in the world is wrong with him? Wouldn't that risk injury and potentially keep the team from being "fresh"?

just practice in full pads I believe. We'll be fine.

More great insight by our resident expert, BigEd.

it's a big game at home, he wants to make sure his team wins. I don't blame him.

Practicing too hard?
I think there might be a big game Richt's trying to prepare for.

If LSU wins: OMG Richt is such an idiot they lost because he scrimmaged!!!
If Georgia wins: OMG Richt is so brilliant they were totally 10 times more prepared than LSU because of the scrimmage!!!

is this normal from coaching staffs right before big matchups? to change preperation and stress being physical?
seems they would want to do the same prep for every game.

Have you seen us tackle? Need all the practice we can get.

He did this because we are fricking horrid tacklers and wants them to fricking get their shite together.

quote:Les has changed it up as well, FWIW, due to our depth issues on defense and players getting so beaten up last year. Coaches are always changing things. A coach who doesn't tweak things that need to be altered won't last long.

Not at all. I've never tried to hide respect for uga. This is our toughest regular season game, bar none.
I think it's weird to scrimmage 3 days before a game. I think richt may actually be scarred. That's short rest for any "nicks".

Miles did somewhat the same thing earlier in the week. Maybe not full scrimmage or whatever but the way I read it was teams get anxious during weeks like this and it's better to let that aggression out instead of trying to hold it till Saturday
Sometimes you gonna let the wild horses run
Coaches know their teams and what's best for them IMO
