A) Crazy game. Lived up to the hype.
B) Manziel is the best college football player I have ever seen.
C) O-line performed beautifully.
D) Yeldon continued his time honored tradition of fumbling the ball in key moments in big games but still performed well.
E) AJ threw the ball well & didn't make really any mistakes.
F) We might be the most penalized team in the country this year when it's all said & done.
G) I like our chances for the rest of this year.

What did you guys think?

It reminded me of what Coach Bryant said to Coach Johnny Vaught after the 1969 Ole Miss-Alabama game. Something like "that was the worst damned game I've ever seen".

Agreed. It was embarrassing.

Have we ever given up 600+ yards in a championship year? Adjustments are needed.

According to my records, that was the most points scored against Alabama ever in a game we won.

I feel embarrassed too. 600+ and 12 penalties. It is a win though.

Lol at these people talking about feeling embarrassed and complaining.

That is a damn good team with one of the best players in college football history leading them. We should be proud of how we won inspite of some calls going against us and some blown coverages.

Last year we lost, this year we won. Be happy.

Sorry we can't win every game 42-0.

Was it CBS or Comcast?

Our TV coverage went black during the Aggies last drive. Was it CBS and thus nationwide, or our Comcast (Crapcast) feed?

I always say, times are good when we can complain about a win, on the road, over a top 10 team.

Still, I hate when we look silly. And that was just silly. I'll take the win, but this isn't championship form.

It's championship form to get hit in the mouth, get back up, and take control, so there's that, but the defense didn't look good. Maybe they'll sort it out, maybe it's lightning in a bottle with JFF . .

What is wrong with me thinking that is an overreaction? It is.

I did share my thoughts. That is a good team with a amazing quarterback. Making it like we should have just shut them down shows no respect for just how good our opposition truly is.. and they are damn good.

Before this game we knew we were weaker on our offensive line and at CB. Our offensive line showed up big time, not giving up a sack and leading us to have a 140+ yard rushing RB. A&M will naturally score, because they're really good. Our downfall was our CB's not getting enough help over the top from our safeties and that was ONLY because we couldn't give them too much help due to Manziel's effect on the entire game.

This isn't a weekly thing, this is a one game thing due to one player's enormous presence and effect on any team's defensive game plan. In other games we will give our CB's more help above and we won't have to worry about a short Cam Newton damaging us both through the air and with his feet.

In short? We should be happy. I truly think this victory is getting underrated because people like to bellyache.

This was an amazing victory and should be what sets the tone for our season. To take their best shot, go down 14 and storm back? I applaud those players, coaches and their effort... I won't complain about or bash them... especially after they fixed up that offensive line.

We have shut down good teams with amazing quarterbacks without getting our pants dropped before.

Ryan Mallet, Aaron Murray, Tim Tebow, and Stafford come to mind.

I'll take the win. But we're talking about Championships in T-Town these days, and 600+ yards allowed doesn't sound like a championship caliber team.

We will all watch and see for improvements, and given our talent and coaching staff, I give them the benefit of the doubt.

Only one of those is a running quarterback and even he doesn't measure to what Manziel can do and how he can affect the game at any moment.

It is extremely hard to get Manziel down, we have to remain disciplined and that gives him A LOT of time to throw the ball. CB's can't guard WR's for that long. It is just too long. Some were blown/poor coverages and others were just the enormous amount of time this kid has to just sit back there and throw when he feels like it.

Even with that we still got enough pressure on him, still sacked him (A'shawn!) and still got two key turnovers on him. No other player in the nation will get that much time to throw or respect from our secondary where they can give help over the top.

You guys keep looking at the yards and missing the point. That kid will put up those yards on any defense. Our defense showed strength to bend but not break and make key plays when our offense couldn't.

I actually agree with YStar. Yeldons goal line fumble & our secondary were the problems. However, it was Manziel & A&M. A combo that scores 60 points on any given day. Don't expect many games to be that close or that bad defensively. Look at the positives: McCarron was great, o-line was beautiful, running game picked up, receivers were a bit more efficient, beat a top 10 team (& defending Heisman Trophy winner). Other fans will talk shite but I highly doubt their team scores that many points or gains that many yards. Most won't get half of that. We lost last year by 5 in our house & won this year by 7 in their house. We're (2-0). Be happy.

They beat TCU and all of a sudden they're the best ever.

We have beat them. They still need to. LSU fans who are laughing could be crying after that home game in BR.

Was is not Stafford that almost came back to win against UA.

Unless I watched a different game the officiating was horrible for UA. I never complain about it but this was over the top. You could probably subtract half JFF yards and the score as well if calls were called and not let go. But a win is a win. They call Kyle Filed the 12th man but they had 13 against us. But like opinions I guess everybody sees the game different.

And in regards to JFF he did what everybody thought he would. But so did AJ without the interceptions in game that most experts said we would have to run the ball and control the clock.

Tons of holes but love the fact we have Saban to fill them.

That was the blackout game. No. It was over at the half. They had a couple of scores late for cosmetics.

You're thinking of Murray? Yes, I suppose, but I didn't think we played badly defensively against them--though I don't know the yardage off the top of my head.
