I wouldn't mind listening to Eli Gold call the Bama-A&M game, this weekend....Anyone know of a channel on the iHeart/TuneIn radio apps that might carry the Bama Radio Network? Or maybe another app that carries the network? How about the Jox 94.5 app?

Seems like many schools don't allow the streaming of game broadcasts....Just wondering if I might luck up...

Thanks!

Prayers sent for your head injury.

I enjoyed how he called NASCAR, and have never got a chance to listen to many of his football broadcasts...Just figured it would be something different.

Sounds like you concur.

Are you one of those freaks that gets his rocks off on being tortured? Eli Gold is like nails on a chalk board to me.

Alabama has a Jewish radio guy? Almost like a rabbi going to Bethlehem.

Eli for the longest time would call the game with no homerisms.

He isn't a bama homer and has a national resume.
Hell his calls of plays that cost Bama games are usually upbeat, usually.

Y'all are too much! Thanks for the info on the JOX 94.5 app, guys....I already had it on my iPhone- just never tried to pick up a game- as I'm usually out of luck on wifi/strong indoor signal most weekends, this time of year.

Sounds like that's the ticket!

He isn't a big homer (at least not as much as the typical school play-by-play guys) and calls a pretty good game. It's just that his voice is so annoying. I just can't listen to it for long.

Don't do it.

He's not terrible now (he was when he started) but he still isn't anything more than serviceable.

It will be worse for you because he was/is the absolute standard to measure all others against when it comes to calling a race. You'll be expecting the same quality and it just ain't there.

I like his voice actually.

I don't like how he used to go out of his way to show he was impartial.

Rival fans should love them some Eli Gold honestly.

He is the voice of the Crimson Tide.

I never thought John Forney could be replaced but Eli is the man

I agree. EG has always been a professional, IMHO. The way he used to call NASCAR races made you feel like you were there....

The few times I've had a chance to listen to him calling Bama-LSU, he's been very fair.

Okay, so maybe he gets a little carried away, at times.

Eli is awful. I refuse to listen to our games on the radio until he is gone.
