Anybody ever bet against your team for insurance?

I'm willing to pay for victories in big games. Taking aTm and the points. If we lose, I at least want to get paid for it. We win, frick it. It's worth a dime. Good luck everybody!

Nevermind.

I've thought about doing this before, honestly.

It would suck if you lose but the other team doesn't cover the spread. I have never bet on a game except with friends.

No but ill pick against Alabama in every pickem I'm in. One of them is for 1500 dollars. I pick against Alabama most weeks in pickem. It's kinda a superstition I have.

It's called the victory tax and it is very common.

That can't happen if he takes A&M and the points. Alabama could win by 1 and he'd win both.

Yeah, I don't do it if Bama is a dog. Not that that happens very often..

That's actually not a bad idea.

Last time was a 6 point dog to UF in the 2009 SECCG.

Crazy.. Might be favored in every game this season, too.

As long as your team's favored, you win either way - cash or a victory.

I meant for Auburn. They will be a underdog in some games this year. I wouldn't bet on Bama. They are too hard to predict points wise and might lose a game they shouldn't.

I do this every time LSU plays Bama. I'm 4-0 the last 4 games with them. It helps with the pain of losing

depends if you have to cover a 30-40 point spread and who will or will not be playing. Spreads can suck sometimes which is why I avoid huge spans
