SEC has some of the best WR's in the nation

I know to us it goes without saying that the SEC has the best players at every position on the field, but the SEC is constantly branded as a run first, defense dominates conference and because of that I don't feel like the WR's in our conference get the attention they deserve outside of the occasional star on a high ranked team like AJ Green.
If you aren't paying attention yet, you should pay attention to these guys:
1. Jarvis Landry, LSU
Against a great TCU secondary he was constantly getting open and making the catch if it was anywhere in his vicinity. His sharp route running, instincts, and hands reminds me of Chris Carter (although a couple inches shorter than Carter). He went for over 100 yards receiving on 8 catches against TCU.
2. Laquon Treadwell, Ole Miss
A true Freshman but looks like a NFL ready play maker. He has the height at 6'3" to jumper over people but also has the burners to take a screen pass the distance. He is going to give SEC D's fits for years. In his first SEC game, he had 9 receptions and 9.1 yards per catch.
3. Jordan Matthews, Vanderbilt
Everyone knows he's the go-to guy on the Vanderbilt team, but he's so tough to cover and bring down it doesn't matter. He has everything you want in your #1 WR, including the intangibles of being a touch mother fricker who refuses to back down.
These are just the top 3 WR's I witnessed this weekend, but I didn't catch every minute of every game so feel free to add to this list.

Evans is elite
Wouldn't put him above Jarvis Landry. Dude has the best hands I've seen from a college receiver in a long long time

Do you even watch football? Did you see the three he listed play this week ?
There is a "who is the third best receiver on your team" thread around here somewhere.

Odell Beckham Jr blew TCU up.
Jarvis is THE prototype possession receiver.
Treadwell is special.
Matthews was damn near a super-hero.
Jones was player of the week.
Evans is a mismatch.
Lots of great receivers in this league.

Bama's entire receiving corps. Oh wait...
It's so frustrating that our receivers dropped so many balls. They have the talent. Not sure what's going on.

Bama's WR unit gets a little too much love from Bama fans.

That was my point. But I still think they have the potential to be one of the best units in the country. Problem is, "potential" is just another word for "you ain't done shite", to borrow a phrase from some of the locals.

They'll come around for sure. Saban will focus on the offense and get them clicking in no time

well some of those guys arent freshman. If they dont have it by now they wont get it. White ran at least 2 awful routes and 1 resulted in an INT.. Kyel Fuller is darn good. But i just didnt see anything that makes me think "top" WR unit. Not even in the SEC. but i think they are very good though.
