I'd take rice and the points honestly.

I don't bet much but I'd say taking rice is dumb, but the under is prob cool.

It's off the boards locally I believe.

I'd go with Rice and points though.

No, it's a stupid bet.

Rice was in the lower half of the NCAA in every defensive category and now has their top 2 defenders suspended.

They're primarily a running team, which plays to A&M's defensive strengths.

The determining factor in the "Over/Under" is how many points A&M scored.

The last CUSA team A&M played was held to 3 points in their own building (SMU).

Manziel will cover that point spread by himself in the 2nd half. I don't think rice will score much so under 66 is probably safe. But we're all just predicting the future my man.

Stay the hell away from this game. Who knows how a true freshman is going to do in his first game. Plus how long will Johnny play in the 2nd half.

I thought our defensive strength was the secondary?

Other than that, I'd take rice and points. But I don't bet.

1. A&M's O is as good as last year.

2. JFF and the first team O could have run a train on your teams cheerleaders in the 4th Q and still won by 70.

3. Nobody has figured out how to stop a&M, especially not Rice.

4. JFF will be mad and need reps.

5. Bet on the storm bringers from the west and fill your pockets with gold lads.

6. and despair at how good this team will be without JFF... despair...

Honestly, probably not a safe bet.

Unlike a lot of blowout, where one team gets ahead, puts in the backups and the other team scores garbage points to make it close, this game will see A&M likely building a modest first half lead only to see the Heisman winner come in and build on that in the second half when Rice is getting worn down.

Sumlin's personality leads me to believe he might leave Manziel in most of the half and let him anger frick the Owls as long as possible.

They went 7-6 and didn't beat a team with a record above .500 IIRC. They do bring back like 19 starters, but it's 19 starters from a below average CUSA team.

SMU finished with the same record in the same conference last year and we beat them by 45 on the road, and that was before Manziel was a good passer. This game shouldn't be close at all.

I wouldn't touch it. The determining factor will be if there are any cobwebs on the A&M O because the talent differential is staggering even without JFF. Rice hasn't got a DLine that can get pressure on the QB. They haven't got the speed to deal with the A&M RB's. They absolutely have no answer for A&M's 3 receivers 6'5 and above. Realize this is a team that put up 40 points in a half like it was nothing last year against subpar competition, 27 points is just 4 TD's.

A&M could well come out and struggle but I doubt it. I'd just stay away. I do think the under is safer than the spread though but that is because I don't think Rice scores more than a TD or 2.

Bet the farm on it. The farm. The running game alone pounds puss. all day. Hill will hit passes - then a strange thing will happen - the whos in whovile will begin singing - no

JFF is pissed and will begin the destruction of 2013.

Be watching Bama. Be ready for your sit on the sideline watching atl from tv but get the bid anyway.

Johnny is mad. Im sorry dudes. Hes goona go Punisher Marvel Comic on everyones arse.
