Just booked my trip to College Station for the Bama game.

Now I just have to decide which team I want to pull for.
My loyalties could be purchased for the day for a couple of cold brews.
Actually looking forward to enjoying a new stadium/atmosphere with nothing on the line.
I have been to 12 of the SEC stadiums. This will take care of A&M. Not sure when I'll get to Missou, but will probably wait until LSU plays there.
A&M folks: let me know of any can't miss attractions.

Be neutral. The game is a win-win. Jimmies will be rustled regardless of outcome.

You'll pull for aTm just based off of how nice the fans are. Gig 'Em!

Tailgating only or do you have tickets? If you have tickets, then congrats!
Dixie Chicken is a popular spot, but pretty much everyone will be there. Wings N More is a popular restaurant mostly local to College Station.
I would take a walk through the campus and head towards our Century Tree. That is a good spot for pictures. The Memorial Student Center is right next to Kyle Field.
You can also see the bonfire memorial to the north.

Head to Northgate and bar hop, especially post game. Our fans are extremely friendly and will give you free booze and food if you're friendly back

The Chicken. Post up here when you hit the street and a cold beer can be made available.

Wasn't this a pretty expensive ticket for a game without LSU or did you get a face value ticket?

This is going to sound OT, but I don't pay for tickets.
Also, I married a gump, and she's been on many LSU road trips with me, so I figured I should give a little back. Doesn't hurt that it's a huge game that will be fun with or without a dog in the fight.

College Station has nothing really to see. It's a boring looking campus and besides Northgate, a boring town. Had fun tailgating with Ball Gravy and his friends for the A&M-SMU game in 2011 though

Campus wise the MSC and Bonfire Memorial are worth visiting
Off campus I would just hop all around Northgate Friday and Saturday night. 95% of the Ags will be nice to you, the other 5% might be too hammered depending on what bar you go to.
If you have any Greek affiliation I would recommend checking out their tailgates over at Duncan Field

Go to Chimy's on NG, have a couple of their everclear margaritas and fish tacos. You might run into JFF their post game.
