Sorry if Germans. From SDS. What say you, Aggies?

Trap Game

quote:

If you were to circle a “trap” game on the 2013 schedule for Texas A&M, look no further than the October 12th meeting against Ole Miss in Oxford. It took last minute heroics and a timely interception last season for the Aggies to escape Vaught-Hemingway with a 30–27 victory.

If Ole Miss didn't win with 6 TOs last year, it doesn't look that good for this coming year.

Ags win by 8, but only because Ole Miss kicks a late FG to get it to one score.

I love at the beginning of the season when people talk about trap games and then they don't become trap games.

I agree. But after last year why would we not take that game seriously?

Correct answer. Not a trap game. Vanderbilt maybe.

Maybe if our QB doesn't throw 2 INT's, one being a pick 6, and our coach doesn't call a draw on 4th and an inch, and we wrap Johnny Manziel up in the end zone we will win. I can play the if game too my friend.

I agree. Because with the six turnovers, we should've won last year.

Last year early in the season, first conference road game, 6 turnovers, young johnny and it was close so I imagine they will be prepared.

Not worried at all this year, and i believe we have an off week before the game in oxford. Auburn could be more of a trap game.

I agree. But what is your sorry arse excuse going to be this year when JFF teabags you entire defense for a second year in a row?

After last years trip to Oxford, I don't see how that is possible. Vandy, maybe Auburn are our only two trap games and both those teams are terrible.

Trap game ? The spread is gonna be like 7 points by kickoff ? If I was gonna bet on it I'd probably moneyline OM.

Both teams I think are going to surprise people this year though, especially Auburn IMO

Hype, hype, hype.

You Aggies have a pretty good hype machine going right now, but you have no idea about this league you're in now. Y'all had a good season last year and JF won some hardware. Good for him....this ain't the Big something conference. Y'all walk and talk like you're an elite program. Sorry...A&M isnt close to elite and hasn't been since the 80's. Win some championships and we'll talk. In all honesty, I won't be surprised at all to see A&M finish below .500 in league play this season.

Starting a thread like this, even with pure intentions, is only asking for a lot of backlash when things do not go our way.

Threads talking about games months away should just not happen.
