For baseball fans, a tremendous opener. Great game Dawgs, avoiding the losers bracket is HUGE. Geaux Hoosiers, beat UL!

What do I mean by avoiding the losers bracket is huge? It means the club can stick with their #1 and #2 pitcher, and not count on their 'Sunday' pitcher, which is usually the weaker link. I decided to edit this OP for those who aren't baseball fans and don't quite understand how double elimination tournament brackets work.

Thank you. I hope both our teams take care of business so we can have a rematch. That would be an epic CWS final. I wonder if they'd let Ron Polk and Skip Bertman come out and coach the first game.

Good game to watch. I'd mow grass a little while, come in and watch a little while. Games over, I got a lot of grass left to mow...

When LSU plays, expect a sea of purple and gold in the stands. Omaha hates UCLA and LOVES LSU. This will be an interesting evening.

Yea I love how our entire bullpen is still available for Monday. If we win that game and don't burn up our pitching we'll be sitting good as the other teams will have played 1 more game than us. By the 3rd game we'll a huge pitching advantage
