That much is known...but did you know they won it 4 times already? Outright in 1947 and 1955 and split champ in 1940 and 1942.

We won it in 2008. Too bad we were still in the Big 12 (the original Big 12, not the shitfest it became)

You were also the first Southern school to win a National Championship in feetsball. 1908 I believe.
