Louisville pitching or Vandy bats

UL has some good arms but Vandy looked terrible at the plate, swinging at balls out of the zone. They picked the wrong time of the year to go in a slump. And they need to get a new radar gun. The same pitch in BR was 89 and they are routinely cracking 97 in Nashville by several pitchers?

Vandy just didn't look good across the board. I blame Kevin Stallings for being in the booth. It's bad juju having him around in the post-season.

I think we can all drop this silly idea that Vanderbilt was better than LSU this year.

Well they slaughtered MSU in the sec tourney worse then we did Oklahoma. They also swept USCe and we lost that series. Can't be that bad no?

Louisville has good pitching but Vandy didn't play half as good as they are. Just had a bad serious at the worst possible time. In 10 series I would take Vandy at least 9 times against Louisville.

I know I was kidding. Vandy was very good this year but finished poorly. Sucks for them. Glad they're out, quite frankly.

Just got back from the Vandy game, was at both games against Louisville. Congrats to the Cardinals, they wanted it bad and will probably go 2 and out at the CWS. Vandy has been flat since the regular season ended. Here is what happen:
-When Vandy hit the ball, 95% of time it was right at a UL player.
-Vandy pictures were not sharp, could not find their zone.
-Both the bad hitting and flat pitching doomed Vandy
-Yaz of 0 for 5 today. Struck out to end the game with runner in scoring position. Struck out yesterday with the bases loaded I think to end the game last night.
-No clutch hitting with runners in scoring position.
It happens and you wonder why. I was just as frustrated for our Tigers when we lost to Stony Brook. Sometimes it just goes that way.
I don't want to jinx LSU but we have a great chance to snag another CWS Title!!!

I was dropping gospel in the thread on the rant until it was whacked bc an admin is bored. In summation: Vandy went full Vandy and pulled a Vandy.
