Good Lord... You mean the same Casey Dunn that couldn't get Samford to a regional this yr?
People need to get away from these "Auburn men." We need a real coach to turn this program around.

Hai Guyz, I think we've been underestimating Jay Jacobs. He fired Chizik, Pawlowski, and the Softball coach but Tony Barbee remains employed when he could easily be the worst of the bunch
I'm thinking Jacobs already has an agreement in place with Bruce Pearl and is simply waiting on his Show Cause to expire in August 2014 at which time Barbee will be politely shown the door.
Jacobs is a mastermind and when his plan is ultimately revealed, everyone will bow down to his greatness

Also, my premise that that there has to be a reason know only to Jay Jacobs that Tony Barbee is still in employed is valid.
I don't follow baseball very closely, but Pawlowski had some success while at Auburn and the next coach won't walk into a wasteland as far as players and recruiting go. The same could also be said for Chizik who won a NC and had a top 10 recruiting class despite a dumpster fire of a season. I can't even remember the Softball coaches name but will assume for the sake of my argument she was at least decent.
When you evaluate what Barbee has accomplished thus far and consider his future potential in comparison to everyone else, his suckage is really magnified and you have to wonder why he's the last man standing
