After talking shite about Tanner ill give him credit, he killed it this weekend. He went until game 3 before they got him out and we scored runs this weekend. If he gets going and the top of the order hits like they did this weekend, we have a chance with our starting pitching.

Do we even need a tourney win for a regional bid?

If not, pitch some kid who's never pitched and rest the good guys. Wahl clearly didn't have his shite Sunday nor did Mayers have his Friday.

It's not WAOM. It's sports gods and they have extremely rustled jimmies.

I don't think so. I think we get a 2 (or at worst, 3) seed even if we lose out in the SECT.

FTR, there are some people who agree with you due to the fact that we are having serious pitching issues at the moment.

If we trot out freshman and soph's and pitch by committee 2 innings at a time on Wed, that would give our starters and pen almost 2 weeks of rest...

I want to beat UK just cause they beat us 2 out of 3 in Oxford and beat us in Hoover last season.... After that I could care less.

Bianco said that decision may not be made until sometime tonight. He did not name any candidates, but they would likely be junior Mike Mayers (pitching on four days’ rest), sophomore Josh Laxer or freshman Jacob Waguespack.

From CL earlier today, about pitching tomorrow morning.
