Wow just looked at the Schedule, Mizzou had a lot of close games. There's a lot of losses by 1-2 runs.

Although, I really have zero vested interest in the baseball program. I can see that changing though.

HA. I'll be paying tuition at Mizzou in the fall, love the state of Missouri, loved what Mizzou did for the Joplin area. That's why you see me supporting Mizzou more than LSU. Since the Tornado I hardly talk LSU sports. I have family connections, etc to LSU. The LSU/Louisiana fan base wears on you. Louisiana native/roots but Missouri is a hell of a lot better place. Yes I get pissed when people trash this state. And to be honest apart of me wishes Mizzou was still in the Big 12 to face the Kansas/Oklahoma teams/ISU. I loved the history of the Big 8.
ETA: In the past year I've ordered about 4 Mizzou books off ebay and checked out some from the Public Library to read up on the history of the Mizzou football and basketball programs.

This has seriously been one of the 5 worst seasons in Missouri baseball history if you look at winning percentages. The fact we have a chance to finish 11th with such a season is amazing. While I don't think Mizzou will win the SEC, it tells me, with better classes coming in they will be able to compete. I think the team batting average this year was about .240.

We just didn't have enough consistent offense this year. Starting pitching was the bright spot. Very tough year for coach J and the team.
At least last night's game was interesting. We couldn't pull it out, but our guys showed a lot of heart an didn't quit. Good for them!

Of our 20 conference losses, 13 were by 2 runs or less. Definitely got to improve, but I don't think they're that far off.

Just need some bats. Our defense and pitching was fine. And bayou, glad to have you as a Mizzou fan!!

Thanks, I actually stayed up and watched Mizzou vs Miss St last night on ESPN3 on the xbox360. For tomm I had a choice to go to the Springfield Cardinals game or stay home and watch Mizzou vs Washington softball, gonna watch softball.

Go Lady Tigers!! Should be a good series. I'd love to see them get to the WS in Chelsea's last year.

I'm a Royals fan. I only watch STL Cards because of the AA team in Springfield. Nice to see them make it to the Bigs and do good. I hate NL baseball. I grew up in SE KS so I grew up listening to AL teams playing the Royals.
