"Major" announcement from USCe athletics tomorrow ...

There are some funny rumors out there right now. My favorite is that we are replacing Sandstorm with a Dubstep version of Darius Rucker's version of Wagon Wheel 
I think most likely it's one of 2 things, or maybe both.
There is a planned renovation of Williams Brice Stadium (basically adding more vegetation.)
Also, the baseball coverage radio contract is rumored to be coming up soon, so it might have something to do with that. If 107.5 is the one calling this a major announcement, it might mean that they got the rights for the next few years.

My bad, I won't be going to Athens this year. I have friends coming from out of town that I'm taking to the Panthers vs Seahawks game on Sunday. Last year I showed them their first SEC game with USC vs UGA and then we saw the Panthers vs Seahawks game the next day.

Ain't that the truth. There was a major communication frick up b/w the Front Office and the Coaching staff. They draft Cam who was an excellent dual threat QB. In year 1 they give him some rope to see what he does, and he does well. In year 2 they try to make him stay in the pocket and be more of a Pro Passer. (I'm not saying he can't pass, but he was drafted 1st overall b/c he was the best dual threat QB to come out since Vick.)
Rob Chudzinski did a lot to help CAR's offense from 2010 to 2011, but then he stalled in 2012. They are going to have to give Cam more freedom if they want to be successful, or make him into Peyton Manning.

Agreed, but we had to. Rushing Defense was fricking awful last year. Our Pass Rush was non existent outside of Johnson (and Hardy had a decent run...once it looked like we were out of the playoff hunt and his job was on the line.)
Star could have been a top 5 overall pick, but that heart infection made teams nervous. Short is a 2 time 1st team All Big1G player, his stats were really good, but again it was just the Big1G.
I'm hoping we end up with a better DL this year. We got spoiled with those years of Peppers, Jenkins and crew.

107.5 got the rights to the radio broadcast for USC sports until the 2016-2017 school year.
