Yeah we all know Dooley was terrible, there is no need for any stat to verify that.

All this talk about Jones stepping into the SEC. Winning close games and 4th quarter come-backs have alot to do with the trust the team has in the coach, whether they give up or not.

It doesn't matter what conference it was in, coaches either have that personality and can get that effort from their players or not.

And 4 of the 6 lost... And 74 outta 120 teams went to Bowls last year...Bowl games mean nothing when 6-7 GT & 6-7 UCLA get an invite to fill the spots...

Geez, these arent his only wins, just the comebacks. He has many other wins against teams that finished with better records.

I agree with the OP, this is promising.......even if it wasnt in the SEC.

Good to know. If we ever play a UT team that hasn't quit on us by the end of the third quarter, we had best be on guard.
