Looking for advice regarding an outside sales position I was approached about.

I was approached by a company called Lawson Products about coming to be a sales rep for them. I currently do supply chain forecasting and procurement work for a major oil and gas company. They are offering base + uncapped commission. Anyone with experience regarding the company or this kind of sales work? I am interested in knowing the hurdles vs. potential rewards I would face if I take it.

I am more interested in hearing from outside sales reps from these types of distributors about the hurdles they face. Everything I have read is showing they are a solid company.
