I say Lindsey. I think there is at least (or was) a small audience of people intrigued by Mustain's story.

I think the Lindsey deal is mostly a self-worshipping pile of dogshit.

What say you?

What's the deal with dumb documentaries?

What year will some local knob-goob with video editing equipment make one on Petrino?

I take it you've never dealt with Lindsey or been in his new skyscraper on Joyce? It's a shrine to Jim on the inside. Paintings of him all over in there. I'm not kidding I have family that used to work for him.

I'm gonna go with Mustain's documentary though. Why is Nolan narrating it? And at least Jim Lindsey has been through life, been successful on and off the field, won a Natty, and played in the NFL. Mustain just got a lot of hype and transferred. Not saying his story isn't bizarre just not as big of a deal as his documentary makers think it is.

Both seem pretty fricking disgusting to me. Mustain never did anything, to speak of, on the football field.

I've lived in one Lindsey owned property years ago and would not recommend to anyone. Just this side of a trailer park IMO.

The Lindsey documentary is a student documentary for a graduate journalism class at the UofA. At the beginning of the two-semester class you have to pitch an idea, build a team and produce a documentary that can be done from Fayetteville.

These documentaries range in quality and topic. One time I saw one about drinking on Dickson street that looked co-produced by the Fayetteville PD. One time I saw one about a haunted house that had way over the top narration. My favorite was about KURM radio and the nutballs who run it. I did one about Dogpatch USA with a 70+ year old non-traditional student. The quality and depth of it is not that great, and seems like something done by a 23-year-old student working a 40-hour a week job.

So the Lindsey one looks pretty pro, all things considered, and has some good attention. Good on them.

I don't think the documentary is something JLindsey is personally pursuing. At least that's what I've heard.

I didn't realize it was a student project. With the press its received I assumed it was a GOB Network production.

Group that with Bobby. I'm sure he'll be willing.
