This team just doesn't have it. I'm putting money on us to lose 1st round of the tourney. Doesn't even matter who we play. Just not there this year. Oh well.

Now, don't be that way. I'm positive they didn't throw the game. They just got too comfortable with the lead and lost their edge. Sucks, but it is what it is.

I don't blame Pressey at all for that one. I have no idea why Haith thought it was a good idea to start milking the clock with 7-8 minutes to go. People who play not to lose always lose.

This.

This is why we lost the game.

I do not like milking the clock either. Strange considering the history of this team. The inbounds pass by Bowers? How can that happen?

We got a lead and tried to sit on it. We quit attacking and allowed Ole Miss to gain the momentum. Ole Miss wanted it more than we did.

Oh well, last year we won the Big 12 tournament, and you know how that turned out.

What do tou think? A 9 seed. At least we know that we aren't going to have any easy games.

I don't think they got too comfortable. I think they started playing afraid to lose instead of playing to win.

I actually noticed the style of play change around the 14 minute mark.

If there is one thing Haith can take from this game it is not to take your foot off the gas. ever.

Haith decided to shut the engine off trying to coast to the third round of the tourney. Well, Haith, how did that work for you?

I don't blame flip or bowers. Should have never been that close.

He's done that a lot this season. I'm not sure if that's his ideal strategy or he simply doesn't trust this team to play smart when they have a lead, but I doubt he learns his lesson.

He did this all last year. We almost lost a bunch of games because of it. At Texas, I remember specifically that we started the slowdown with about 10 left and then almost lost.

We had playmakers at the end of the game to bail out the slowdown game. We don't this year.

Yeah, I remember the Texas game where we slowed it down and Dixon really bailed us out. That's just the only one that came to mind so I couldn't remember if we did it all the time or not.

I know I remember it a lot early in the season this year too. My memory doesn't go back a year ago anymore.
