Excited to see how the kid does in his first start. He struggled in his last appearance. No runs but I think he walked 4. It will be interesting to see how he performs starting as opposed to coming into games. Good luck to him and the Tigers.

Pitched 4 innings. 7 strikeouts. 1 walk. 0 earned runs. 1 unearned run. Sounds like a great outing for the kid. Not sure why he was yanked. Maybe pitch count?????? Bringing him along slowly?
