It is your civic duty as an American to serve on a jury of your peers. Only terrorists and assholes would try to get out of it.

Just pick a stance and be very extreme about it.

I got called as soon as I turned 18. Got stuck on a medical malpractice case for a month and a half. Prayers sent.

I'm thinking about showing up with a purple mohawk and some ripped jeans.

Be related to the arresting officers, have your bil be related to the Ada. Have the judge be your little league coach.

Easiest way to get out of jury duty: tell them you are an engineer. Neither side wants a jury full of people thinking logically and rationally, it means their case has to be that much more solid.

Ain't the justice system grand?

My first Jury Duty was after Game 3 of the 2010 Playoff series Braves vs the Giants. I slammed my flask after Heinske's Home Run. Then we lost so we drank and drank and drank. Had to wake up at 5 am to make it on time. Threw up in the parking lot on the way in. Sat next to the team Mom of one of my Pee Wee teams she talked and talked about her kids and how good it was to see me.

If I can make it through that, Im pretty sure you can do it.

I was summoned once, but it was for a county I no longer lived in.

When they are asking you things tell them you think the system is corrupt and biased and that you do not believe in the justice system. You will be DQd in a nanosecond. I've been called up 2 times for jury duty and I've done that and gotten out really fast

One way that has been successful is when they ask you on if you believe in the death penalty or not. If you do support the death penalty that usually gets you out pretty fast.

I got called up for a drug dealer who got busted with guns and told the DA I think all drugs should be legal. He told me to leave

My grandfather got summoned one summer when I was 9 or 10. I was visiting with him at the time he had to go in and he took me with him. We went to the court house, I sat downstairs by the receptionist, and he went upstairs. About three minutes later he strolls back down and says let's go. I told him that was fast and he was the first person to be done. He then says "I know the lawyers and they know and I know that I'm too damn old to be bothered with this. Now lets go to the coffee table."

And there's your cs for the day
