What would you rather win first? SECCG or BCS Bowl?

The thread on the SECr about changing the outcome of one game got me thinking...losing the Sugar Bowl seemed liked more of a kick in the gut than losing the SECCG to Florida, but I think I'm prejudiced because I was at the Sugar Bowl, as opposed to watching the SECCG on TV.

Forgetting any possible BCSCG implications, which would you rather win first? SECCG or BCS Bowl?

I agree with DC on this one. Besides, the Cotton Bowl vs Kansas State was better than most BCS games that year anyway.

Win the conference, are they even going to have the BCS in 2014?

Excellent point. I think winning a BCS game will significantly lose its status after the playoff's are implemented.

So maybe a better question would be: if you could have changed the outcome of one of those games, which one? People who attended one (but not the other) might not be objective, so I'll refrain from answering.

SECCG without a doubt. In all honesty until we win that game we don't have shite. A BCS bowl win would be nice, but that first SEC championship would be sex.

Sugar Bowl i was pissed for an hour or two at the hotel and then was over it because i realized that we had come back on them like we did.

Florida SECCG i almost destroyed a time share in Branson the morning after.

SECCG, win that we're guaranteed in the BCS title hunt. Just a BCS game means we either didn't get to the title game or lost it and can't win a natty.

SECCG. I was at the Sugar Bowl, and it was one of the most painful losses of my life, but you don't control your destiny going to a BCS bowl. You do control your destiny winning the SEC.

Easy.I would have kept R Fish planted on the 10 yard line.

We could win 100 BCS bowls and never be excepted in the SEC until we win that first SECCG

SECCG, definitely. I agree that we could win many BCS games, but would not get the respect in the SEC until that championship is won.

I think most fans of any SEC school would prefer an SEC Championship over a Sugar Bowl victory.
