Anyone going to the Houston Rodeo Cookoff this weekend?

Looks like it's going to be a beautiful weekend to enjoy the biggest party in Texas. Don't know if I will go out tonight but I'll be there Saturday getting wasted and eating some BBQ. Any other Ranters coming out?

Probably I have several friends cooking this year just depends on what work looks like.

I'm trying to get all the pipe I gotta deliver done today but i'm gonna run outta hours so it just depends on how long I gotta wait on people at the locations tomorrow

Nice, ill be at the Turbine Heat tent but I may visit a couple other ones. Forgot a lot of what happened after I left our tent last year

The biggest party in Texas happens April 5th and 6th in Snook, Texas.

That is very debatable, and I'm from Houston. Chilifest was brought up. What about Texas Crawfish Festival, Texas State Fair, SXSW, ACL, NASCAR at Texas Motor Speedway, Kalf Fry in Lubbock, St. Patty's Day in Dallas, and I'm sure there's plenty other large events that deserve to be named on this list that I can't think of off the top of my head or don't know about. Possibly a good topic for a thread in the Texas A&M board.
At any rate, Houston Rodeo Cookoff is a damn good time!
All the pics I saw on my Facebook news feed last night made me jealous, and there will be plenty more to come as the weekend goes on.
