Get on our level SEC!

(Damn you Purifoy. One of our best CB's and he does this shite )

quote:

Florida cornerback Loucheiz Purifoy was arrested early Sunday morning and charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana, making him the seventh member of the Gators arrested for marijuana over the past 25 months.

quote:

According to a Gainesville Police Department report, Purifoy was a passenger in a car that was stopped for a violation of the right of way at 12:05 a.m. ET on Sunday. The officer's report noted that one passenger threw a marijuana cigarette out of the window and that he observed marijuana residue in the car.

Gainesville/UPD are the worst. Too much dam time on their hands and they are nothing but big bullies. They create situations out of nothing. If you read the details of this case, it's pretty clear that this was an illegal search to begin with but they feel the need to harass and pat down anyone in their jurisdiction.

F the police in Gville. I know there track record.

Is he gonna stay on the team? If it was Meyer I'd lol for even suggesting his dismissal, but I'll give it to WM he seems to be a little more serious about discipline.

I think there is a three strike rule when it comes to weed. If it's his first strike, he'll stay on the team without much penalty. If he gets anymore he'll be given the Pop Saunders treatment.

Maybe losing the cocktail party makes the respective team make a run for the Fulmer Cup

these statements always amuse me coming from UT guys. You guys are aware its named in honor of your coach.

quote:

The Fulmer Cup was conceived in 2006 by Every Day Should Be Saturday sports blogger Orson Swindle, a fan of football rival Florida, and named for then-University of Tennessee football coach Phillip Fulmer. While Fulmer was coach, the Tennessee team had over 20 players arrested for criminal activity in a 16 month period from 2004 through 2005. This mirrored a similar outbreak of criminal activity at the University of Tennessee in 1995 when 9 players were arrested. Since this seemed to be a recurrent theme at Tennessee under Fulmer, the cup was named in his honor (USA Today).

We've only won it once, and have one of the lowest overall point totals for a winner since it's started.
