It looks like you should start feeling confident that you end up with him as well. Pretty sure we have backed off due to grade concerns.

Yeah, I'm not sure where the MA talk to AU is coming from today. I was under the impression from a couple paysite analysts and others with inside info that UGA held a commanding lead as of earlier this week.
Then all of sudden...we get Tunsil'd...again
With that said, Tunsil has reinitiated contact w/ the UGA staff today and has not officially shut anything down. We can pray.
ETA: Obviously MA never gave us a silent for over half a year like LT, but everything seemed on the upswing for the good guys earlier this week.

He (along with Tray Matthews and Derrick Green) was a silent to AU before the ship sank and Chizik got fired.
I'm not saying we'll get him by any stretch of the imagination, but I feel like it's not outside the realm of possibility that we were able to get him back on board with a visit.

Also, there's an interesting rumor out there about Foster's visit to AU this weekend...but I'm not starting a topic on it until something concrete comes out. Any AU guys heard anything? Seems a little off the wall, I'm calling BS as of now

Chad Simmons predicted MA to UGA if I'm not mistaken and he nailed all of our targets last year for NSD.
With that said, my confidence mainly stems from the fact that it's been AU/UGA/Clemson then Bama/AU/UGA/Clemson then UGA/Clemson and now back to UGA/AU after he said that he wanted to play in the SEC.
We're the only constant throughout the process for him from what I've kept up with. At one point, it looked almost certainly to be Clemson or UGA.

JC Shurburtt's source said it was down to AU and Bama. He wanted to play in the SEC. Surprised UGA wasn't on the list.
He visits with his mom this weekend. Loves Garner.
Bama mods start to think he goes to AU.
All that combined makes us think we have a real chance. I can see why UGA feels good but I don't know why y'all think he's such a lock when one guy that I know of has actually picked y'all.

He's visited us more times than anyone else
He's currently on campus right now
His mother is currently on campus right now
His lead recruiter at UGA is wearing orange and blue now

I was under the impression, that after the "I want to play in the SEC" comment from MA recently, Schurburtt's source said AU and Bama are trending but to watch out for UGA still b/c they had mama in their corner.
I think Schurburtt's info is the source of a lot of confusion on MA
