With Jones out for good and williams out indefinitely, a huge inside presence and a good 3 shooter off the bench are gone. No depth after buck and holloway and nobody to shoot us out of scoring slumps like williams has done so many times.

@Florida-just for the sake of the thread, lets say we lose that. Then what? Is Mizz a must win even being on the road? I think so.

And then the oh so easy backloaded schedule that we thought we could run the table on before the injuries. We do not have any wiggle room after the missouri game especially if we falter there.

Im not sure that the sec will bring 4 teams to the tourney. We need to win a couple in the SECT and hope that we can get by without a bench. I am just afraid that its gonna be a tough grind.

ETA: since lsu just beat mizz, it wont be AS tough even with our injuries, but at the same time these LSU's and Auburns arent as easy to bring down as the eye test shows either.

I still think we are in good shape. I think we will be beat Mizzou again. They just aren't playing well right now. We will split with State I believe. We just have a hard time in The Hump. We'll beat A&M, and I feel we will win the games against Georgia, Auburn, South Carolina, and LSU.

We probably won't make it far in the Tourney, but we will be in it and that is big for Ole Miss.

We HAVE to win in the hump. If we falter down the stretch it has to be against someone more respectable as a team than them. Although it just got a little tougher, they way we played @UT and @Vandy, state should be no different.

We will need to distance ourselves once again by end of the reg season and get off the bubble. We have no luck on the bubble.

I think we end up with 3 or 4 SEC losses. If we are in that position, we will get in. Especially if we win a game in the SECT. I'm really not worried about getting into the Tournament.

I agree. maybe its not as big of a deal as im wanting to make it. Hopefully Perez finds his identity and Brutus shows some physicality of some sort.

Just get us in AK. Just get us in.

Hopefully Brutus can replace Jones' rebounds. We've got to get some points from Perez now and Snoop has to keep his scoring up. One big negative outside of losing Jones and Williams is that Cox is probably going to be forced into playing again this year instead of trying to get a medical red shirt.

Cox needs to get back healthy ASAP. Until then Perez is our 6th man.

We just need to get to 13 or 14 SEC wins to make the dance.
