Brilliant move by Saban. Last thing the team needed was to sit there and soak up all the adulation from the talking heads. RTR!

I actually liked the idea of staying at The Fountainbleau. Alabama stayed down there several times in the 60s and 70s, when playing in the Orange Bowl. I'm not sure if they stayed there for the 2000 Orange Bowl.

I can assure you they did not change hotels last year. I watched them depart and arrive back at the Marriott. I also have friends staying at the Fountainbleu and the team busses were still there as of 30 minutes ago.

Haven't heard if they changed hotels this year, but Saban did get the hotel to cut off ESPN to the player's rooms.

Correction.....

I got that information off of twitter from Jim Dunaway I believe it was (he tweeted it), but he came back and said that he was incorrect and that they actually did not change hotels last night and that they did stay at the FB again.
