Im not flaming just curious but has a freshman QB ever won a BCS title? Im trying to think when the last time a freshman qb won a national title but cant think of one

yeah Leak started. he accounted for 1 TD. Tebow for 2.

Idk about freshmen, but plenty first year starters: Tebow, McCarron, Newton.

Tebow was not a starter when Florida won in '07 He was a junior starter when they won the '09 championship.

No starting freshman has won, and according to a graphic in last year's game McCarron was the first sophomore to win a BCS title game.
