You know Strong had a bit of a "I'll show them" mentality for not getting the UF job. Throw in the fact they heard how they didn't even belong in the game and we came in expecting to play a pushover today. They were all amped up and we didn't give a shite. It was disgusting to watch. Not to mention those uniforms are cursed.

We got stomped but its kinda funny to me to see all these people on ESPN and FB calling it the greatest blowout in history (in Vegas at least). We lost by 10 points and were a 2pt conversion and onside kick away from making it a game at the end.

Onside kicks aren't exactly our strong point. In fact, I don't know what strong points I could identify last night.

The perfect storm was that Louisville wanted to win the game more than UF and gave more effort. Coaches, players and fans. Sad to be there and see that in person. And I am tired of the gimick uniforms. We looked like FAMU, played like them too.

UL heard for several weeks that they didnt belong and they were 2 TD underdogs...yep, thats enough to fire up a team....and some of our team sleepwalked....especially offense. I think our defense gave great effort...but Bridgewater just flat out beat us.

Charlie Strong and I use the same professional (not a hooker) and that professional is a good friend of mine. He said Charlie is extremely angry at Foley and UF for not even being truly considered for the job. It's so bad he doesn't think he'd ever come back to UF at least while Foley is there. He was definitely motivated to rub Foley's face in it and he succeeded at every level. Oh, Charlie will never mention the above publicly.

Good to know. Out of all the coaches that came through UF, he is my favorite.

I love Charlie, but I wasn't completely convinced about him as an HC until the Sugar Bowl. His last 2 years weren't great, and he still lost 2 games this year to some average teams. But he definitely proved he can be a great HC. I wonder why Foley didn't consider him. Maybe he is too old. I think Muschamp wanted an up and comer similar to the Billy D hire or Bob Stoops when he went to OU.
