Why do CFB players helmets fly off constantly these days?

It used to happen every blue moon but it seems like it happens constantly this bowl season. Are the collisions that much more violent? I know the players are way bigger, faster, and stronger than back in the day but seriously.

This came from a State trainer. He said that none of them like to wear them correctly, especially if they have dreads because it hurts their scalp and forehead. The NCAA knew they weren't wearing them correctly hence the rule about having to come out. It isn't design or they would go after the companies.

The players like them to quickly come on and off so they can get their TV cameo as they come to sideline. Quickly coming off helmets and correctly worn helmets are miles apart.

Coming from a football player the only helmet I've ever worn that was actually comfortable when it was properly pumped up with air was the Revo Speeds, and even those hurt a bit after a few hours.

I ride motorcycles and my $500 Aria hurts the hell out of my forehead but it is the proper helmet for me. My son's little league helmet is a Schutt Hybrid X2 and he constantly complained about it giving him a headache. Next year I think I will switch him to the Xenith helmet.

And because of that hit the Michigan player was able to stay in I believe because even the refs said there was no way it could have stayed on.

Is that true? I did not know that. Interesting.
